Help Centre

Introduction

These Community Guidelines explain the behaviour expected from anyone taking part in the Fight My Monster community.

They apply across official Fight My Monster services, including the website, Discord server, Patreon, social media pages, events, competitions, support communications, game-related services and any future community features operated by Fight My Monster.

Participation in Fight My Monster community spaces is subject to these Community Guidelines.

Fight My Monster aims to maintain community spaces that are welcoming and suitable for a broad audience.

  • Use hate speech or discriminatory language.
  • Spam messages, links, images or repeated content.
  • Impersonate staff, moderators, users, companies or official Fight My Monster services.
  • Disrupt discussions, events, services or community spaces.
  • Encourage rule-breaking, abuse, harassment or unsafe behaviour.

Disagreements are allowed. Personal attacks are not.

Fair Play

Fight My Monster is built around fair competition.

You must not:

  • Cheat, exploit or abuse game systems.

  • Exploit, knowingly reproduce or intentionally take advantage of bugs, glitches or unintended mechanics.
  • Share, distribute or encourage others to use exploits.
  • Manipulate events, giveaways, votes or competitions unfairly.

If you discover an exploit or serious bug, report it privately rather than sharing it publicly.

Account Safety

You are responsible for keeping your account and login details secure.

You should not:

  • Share your password or account access.
  • Ask another user for their login details.
  • Attempt to access someone else's account.
  • Sell, trade or transfer accounts unless expressly permitted.

Communication Standards

Community discussion should remain constructive, appropriate and relevant.

You should:

  • Keep criticism focused on ideas, not personal attacks.
  • Use the correct channels or contact methods where possible.
  • Avoid excessive off-topic posting in project-focused spaces.
  • Respect moderator and staff instructions where reasonable.

Mild or non-targeted profanity may be tolerated in some community spaces where appropriate, but abusive, sexual, hateful, threatening or targeted language is not allowed.

Feedback and Suggestions

We welcome feedback, suggestions, ideas and requests from the community.

When giving feedback:

  • Be constructive.
  • Explain the issue or suggestion clearly.
  • Respect that not every idea will be used.
  • Do not pressure, harass or repeatedly demand changes from the team.

Suggestions may be used, adapted, rejected or saved for later without compensation unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Events, competitions, challenges, giveaways and submissions must be entered fairly.

Participants must:

  • Follow the specific rules of each event.
  • Submit original work unless otherwise stated.
  • Not submit stolen, copied or unauthorised content.
  • Not manipulate votes, judging, entries or outcomes.
  • Understand that judging decisions may be final and not all decisions will be subject to appeal.

We reserve the right to disqualify entries or participants where rules are broken, submissions are unsuitable or behaviour harms the event or community.
